AND where you have the opportunity to get those brains working!

1. There are 6 different "Bloom's" thinking levels (invented by Benjamin Bloom). You need to start with the lowest level, level 1, so that by Level 3, you will have a really sound knowledge base to work with.

The higher thinking levels (4,5, & 6) are where you REALLY get to use your skills and talents, stretch your thinking, and follow your developing interests- WOOHOO!

2. Your teacher will tell you how many of the activities you need to do at each level.

Choose the ones you like best obviously, but ALSO do try sometimes to do ones which you think might be a bit hard but which will help to s-t-r-e-t-c-h you!

3. Developing an interest in a sub-topic or a Big Question? Your teacher can give you more information on Bloom's levels so that you can make up your own activities from Level 4 onwards, if you're interested!

weLCOME... this is where you start choosing!

NEW INTEREST developing?

At level 4 and up, you might want to branch off into an area of interest that you've now developed. Check with your teacher-- maybe you can substitute your topic or Big Question for the wording of any of the activities here?
